People like to think that dogs and cats urinate in the house out of “SPITE”. That’s ridiculous. If you were outside and were upset with someone, would you pee in your pants ”out of spite”? I would hope not. Then i found out that these same people want to put them to sleep over it. That’s insane! It could be a health issue like a urine or bladder problem that can be remedied with an antibotic. Even a chronic problem can be resolved with medication. If pills aren’t the solution, how about doggie or kitty diapers? Look at http://www.petdiapers.com/ . They even have diapers for birds!
I had a friend who had a cat and the cat was peeing in the house, turned out my friend put the cat to sleep because she didn’t want to deal with it on her new carpets. Well, needless to say, she’s not my friend anymore. She couldn’t be bothered dealing with the medications and said she couldn’t afford to keep paying for them.
People shouldn’t have an animal if they can’t afford to get them medical attention should they become sick. There are individuals and organizations that can assist with paying the bills, you just have to research it on the internet to find them. Everyone wants an animal when they are healthy with no problems, but like humans, they get sick too. They deserve the care that one would bestow on a family member or themselves.
Lastly, you should walk your dog often. Think about how many times you go to the bathroom every day. It doesn’t feel good to have to hold it in and your dog feels the same way. Frequent walks may help eliminate your dog urinating in your house. Plus, your pooch will be happier i’m sure.
